Why are scissors SO fascinating?

Well, it has been a couple of weeks now and Miss Ana has found a new love for scissors and cutting things. So far, Ariel has gradually lost her long flowing locks (which by the way do not come out of the carpet easily - even with a Dyson!). Ana did take a chunk out of her own fair tresses, but thankfully, with her hair being curly, you couldn't really tell... until today.
Over my shoulder I heard the gentle and steady snipping of the artist at work. I thought to myself, Ariel will be bald as a coot by now, sporting the attractive tufty doo that many of us inflicted upon our dolls in our younger years.
Ana, with a satisfied excitement in her voice, calls, "Mummy, look!"
I turn around and there she is sitting on the sofa beaming happily with a (very neat and tidy) pile of her OWN hair!

Well, we live over the road from a hairdressers, so we took a short walk and a new doo blending the originality of Ana's creation with style and finesse was devised.

Thankfully, my little girl has been blessed to look good with either short or long hair... it's very Tinkerbell!

It made me smile and we laughed out loud together. What a Cheeky Leekie!! :)
