A quick question!!?

What exactly is the difference between a juicer and a blender?

Other than the exorbitant amounts of cash involved in the buying thereof??

All suggestions gratefully received!

A blender pulverizes everything together. A juicer extracts all the good juicy innards away from the rest and separates the juice from the rest of the fruit or veggie. There are reasons that uber-healthy people want to use juicers (I've discussed it with my sister before, extracting something akin to the bone marrow of fruits and vegetables for cancer prevention, etc), but for my purposes, a blender seems to work ok. Especially for the cost! Juicers make juice, blenders make smoothies, or runny pulp :) Much less waste with a blender :) Not to say that I don't "some day" want a juicer....
